Samsung – Incompetent Samsung Customer Service in Algeria – Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8000)

Dear all,

I had experienced charge issues with my Galaxy Note 10.1 2012 Edition (GT-N8000) so I took to the local Samsung Customer Service wishing for assistance and repairs to be made.

A month later, after I went back to see what was happening (no calls or e-mails were sent to me despite the fact that the customer service said they’d do so), they told me that the battery failed and that the warranty didn’t cover that.

The point was, I was willing to pay for a replacement battery but they told me that Samsung Customer Care Algeria didn’t import/have/sell batteries or nything related to it and that I had to buy a new battery for my device from the UAE…

In other words, my device was good for being thrown away since they refused to repair it unless I bought a battery thousands miles away…

This is simply out of the reach of anything understandable from such a big company!

I now have a tablet that’s out of service because of a simple and futile issue that could have been easily handeled and I now regret that most of my devices are Samsung branded (TV, home cinema, mobile phones) because I know what’s to come when it would arrive to support and service.
